A big THANK YOU to Dr. Nash and the GHS Madrigals who delighted us with a selection of holiday songs. What a super talented group of kids! It was a fantastic way to enjoy the holiday season together as a club.
We had a record breaking year for the Annual Baby Needs Drive for the Salvation Army. Cheers to Don Wilson for his efforts to make this the best year yet. It was a great turnout of members for the delivery to the Salvation Army in Hartford on Monday morning. Thank you to everyone who took the time to help these families in need.
Rotarian Brittney Gondek is working with the Interact Club at GHS for their annual fundraiser that helps kids at St. Francis Hospital. The event is this weekend and she is looking for donations. Please email her if you can help: bgondekdesign@gmail.com
The Rotary Holiday party will be January 21st from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at either 2 Hopewell or Cafe Aura depending on how many people plan to attend. The cost is estimated to be $125 per couple. Kevin Flanagan sent out the invite through Clubrunner. Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can get a head count.
At our December 18th meeting, we will host Rev. Collins and Christine Masotti from the Divine Hope Mission. This non-profit helps to provide basic needs (medical and mental health services) to underserved communities in Nigeria. Please watch for the RSVP email through Clubrunner.
