We had a long and productive business meeting. Congratulations and welcome to our two new members, Major Mig and Adam.

Major Mig has been working with Rotarian, Don Wilson, on the Diaper Drive for some time and is excited to transition into being a member of our club. 

Adam Baltayan contacted our club after seeing our logo throughout town.  His grandfather was in the New Haven Rotary and a Past President and Paul Harris Award Winner. 

We look forward to working with them!

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP REQUEST

Next, President Tom Delaney introduced a request for a Corporate Membership by PeoplesBank (the new bank on Main Street set to open this summer).  They are also our TOP sponsor for the Lobsterfest contributing $5,000.  We will discuss the possibility for a Corporate Sponsorship at a future meeting.

LOBSTERFEST 2025 UPDATE

Lobster Fest is just 2 months away! Ticket sales are going well but we all need to SELL. Tickets are available online (see the link above or below). You can get more tickets from Bob Z and they are available to purchase at Cofiell’s and NAPA Auto Parts.

The Business Sponsorship Committee is doing a wonderful job but our proceeds would really be boosted if every active Rotarian committed to selling at least 1 $250 sponsorship.  it would amount to thousands of dollars in additional money raised.  Reach out to one local business...it’s great publicity for a business and great support for our club.

FIRESIDE CHATS RECAP

The fireside chat groups provided excellent insight and suggestions as we look to improve our club. Feedback included more consistent committee reports, innovative ways to attract new members, partnerships, potential changes to the Board structure, connections with other Rotary Clubs and many other impactful changes. The Board will discuss the recommendations and report back to the Club.
