The Scholarship Committee is very close to their goal of raising a total of $10,000 toward a 2nd scholarship for a GHS student.  Rotarian, Rick Cyphers has generously donated most of the money needed, but the committee would love to be able to say that this is a scholarship funded solely by Rotary members.  ANY amount is greatly appreciated and will help a deserving student achieve their dreams.  Reach out to Joe Jaconetta if you'd like to donate: joja6286@gmail.com 
 

 

 

Gene Langan had a great idea to turn one of his VW electric vans (see Facebook and Instagram for pictures) into a traveling Lobsterfest ticket van.  Well, we all made it happen and this past Saturday...Rotarians, Jill Kehl, Jackie Post, and Don Wilson hit the road to sell tickets.  They were able to secure 45 ticket sales at Hops on the Hill.  Be on the lookout throughout town as they plan to be out several upcoming Saturdays.  Also, don't forget that tickets are available online through the link in this email posted above and below and of course at NAPA, Cofiell's and through your favorite Rotarian. 

 

 

 

The guest at this Monday's meeting was Jaqueline Lampert.  She owns her own dog training business and expertly informed us about her successful business and the many laws and regulations that apply to service dogs. She provides educational workshops and online courses to help businesses welcome and best accommodate individuals who require service dogs. After 2 years of training these dogs can help people with hearing disabilities, PTSD, mobility issues, needed medical alerts, allergen detection and many more needs.
